Miguel has trained under some of the greatest teams in the mixed martial arts world and even earned a black belt under one of the greatest pioneers and legends of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and vale tudo: Carlson Gracie Sr.
Teaching and mentoring his students for the last 18 years, Torres has been able to maintain his impressive mixed martial arts career while maintaining one of the most experienced and victorious martial arts academies in the Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland areas. Torres, who is now retired from competing in mixed martial arts, has his eyes focused and heart set on making his academy a beacon of hope and strength for those who want to be a part of something special, feeling like a second family. He now dedicates his time to training his students and helping them accomplish their personal goals.
